Songcontest reloaded & Wetten

Diesmal wieder etwas auf Deutsch! Puuuh, der Songcontest ist ja nun auch schon einige Tage her ... aber ich muss halt doch noch meinen Senf dazugeben :-) Als die No Angels auftraten sagte ich noch zu meinen Freund, dass die bestimmt am letzten Platz landen werden.

Der Auftritt war einfach nur schlecht und umso mehr hat es mich dann geärgert, dass sich danach alle übers Nachbarschaftsvoting aufgeregt haben. Mag schon sein, dass es in den letzten Jahren für die westlichen Länder schwieriger geworden ist zu gewinnen, aber Max oder Stefan Raab haben es vor einigen Jahren ja auch geschafft gute Platzierungen zu erreichen und auch damals gab es schon das Televoting (wenn ich mich jetzt nicht täusche).

Jedenfalls wollte ich wirklich darauf wetten, dass die No Angels Letzter werden nur dummerweise habe ich dann keine aktuellen Livewetten dazu gefunden. Schade schade, denn die Wette hätte ich gewonnen.

Apropos Wetten ... gerade spielt Deutschland gegen Weißrussland und führt derzeit 1:0 und das bringt mich auf die EM die in 11 Tagen losgeht. Deutschland als Europameister? Hmmm ... bei Interwetten hab ich eine Quote von 5,00 darauf gefunden. Das heisst, wenn ich 50 Euro auf Deutschland wette, dann bleiben mir im Fall des Falles 200 Euro als Gewinn. Schönes Taschengeld ! :-) Außerdem hab ich noch eine super Seite zum Wetten gefunden. Auf Wettstern - Sportwetten Portal gibt es wirklich viele nützliche Infos übers Wetten und wie Quoten berechnet werden bla bla. Die aktuellen Neuigkeiten zur EM hol ich mir dann aber schon auf der offizielen EM 2008 Seite.

Mass Games in North Korea

Well, I don't know if it's politcally correct to post a video of North Korea. I've recently developed some intense interest in what's happening in this country and it's somehow shocking that we don't know very much about North Korea. However, I've stumbled upon this video about the Mass Games 2007; check out the Wikipedia Article on Mass Games and watch the video. The choreography is simply amazing .. and by the way .. did you know that the "Rungrado May Day Stadium" in Pyongyang can seat 150,000 people?

Kampusch buys kidnapper's house

About two years ago Natascha Kampusch escaped from her prison, where she was held for eight years! Today, German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung reports, that Kampusch wants to buy the house. If you are familiar with the story, then you know that her kidnapper committed suicide the day Kampusch escaped. Natascha Kampusch also stated, that it feels weird to buy the house that she hated so much throughout all the years.

Bald ist Songcontest

Hui.. ich versuchs mal auf Deutsch. Am 24. Mai steigt ja in Belgrad der Songcontest (Halbfinali sind am 20. bzw. 22. Mai). Eine relativ gut gemachte Seite zum Thema ist OGAE - dort kann man seine Favoriten voten, und sich alle Rankings der Vorjahre ansehen. Ich persönlich bin ja ein Riesenfan des Songcontests .. ja, ich glaube sogar, dass die sehr viele Leute auf die Eurovision stehen, aber sich keiner traut es zuzugeben. Und für alle die ihn noch nicht kennen .. hier der Deutsche Beitrag von den No Angels. Hmm.. wenn ihr mich fragt, wird da nicht viel mehr als ein Top 10 Platz rausspringen, aber ich lass mich auch gern überraschen.

Sometimes I really wonder how stupid authorities can be; somebody should have noticed that it's obviously not the fault of the drivers ... but watch for yourself
